About your Vermont Wedding Photographer

I have been photographing weddings, pets, people, places, and everything else in between for more than fifteen years. I started my career in my home town of Witten, German and then had the pleasure of being able to teach and study at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles. I was photographing weddings, actor's headshots, movie premiers and was also working as a still photographer on commercial and movie sets when I met my husband - so very Hollywood - on a movie set in San Diego and the rest is - as they say - history.

Our family (us and our two dogs) moved to Boston in 2005 but quickly discovered that we weren't all that fond of living in the big city any more. We went camping in Vermont, fell in love with the Northeast Kingdom, bought our home and that's pretty much how somebody from the little town of Witten, Germany, ended up in the even smaller town of Albany, Vermont. Apart from us loving the area, one could also not wish for a more stunning landscape for wedding photography.

My goal as your wedding photographer is simple ... to capture a mix of stunning, fun and creative images for you as your day unfolds. My work as a photographer is about stories of the people I meet, so no two weddings are ever the same. Meeting people, photographing them and enjoying the special story we all have to tell is what I love about being a wedding photographer.

Prior to your wedding day, we will sit down and go over your plans, plans and expectations for your day so your wedding photos will not only meet but exceed your expectations.

In case you are wondering about the photo to the right - it is one of the 12 (!) photos we have of our own wedding (taken by my Dad). You can read more about what happened to our photos and why you want to hire a professional wedding photographer here.
