All of the vendors listed here are vendors I have personally worked with and have had very good experiences with in the past. But please, do your own research, meet with anybody you're considering and don't just take somebody's word for it ... not even mine;-). Also, we do not accept link exchanges for this section of the site. Actually, make that we don't accept link exchange requests at all. If I haven't worked with you, your link won't be posted. Thanks for your understanding.

Reception Sites:

The Webster Barn at Sterling Meadows Farm - One of my favorite venues. This is also where the famous "groom carrying bride over his shoulder" photo was taken, fantastic views, spacious barn, and the possibiltiy to stay at the farmhouse. A perfect venue for a quintessential Vermont Wedding.

Samuel Read Hall House (@ Old Stone House Museum in Brownington, Vermont) - gorgeous location with opportunity to rent a horse carriage just down the road. Additional perks: Prospect hill with views of Willoughby Lake is right across the road. Picture perfect.

Sleepy Hollow Inn, Huntington, Vermont - Wonderful innkeepers, gorgeous location and a fantastic round barn with a second story balcony - perfect for getting those dance shot photos. I absolutely adore the little wedding gazebo right at the pond with view of Willoughby Gap. Also has its very own separate sauna at the pond. Gorgeous.

Pigeon Hill Farm - East Berkshire, Vermont - beautiful property, ideal if you want to get ready for the ceremony "on site", for portraits, celebrations - stunning English flower gardens and a super neat reception barn.

Elliot House Bed & Breadfast - Shelburne, Vermont - superb location with a swing, a barn (photo op only, not a reception barn) as well as an apple orchard, great for portraits, ceremonies and receptions.

Flowers:

All About Flowers in St. Johnsbury, Vermont - if you would like to see some of the amazing flowers they did for Sara's Wedding, check out this link. Stunning and absolutely beautiful.

The Painted Tulip in Waterbury Center, Vermont - Nicole made the stunningly beautiful (and super fresh!) flowers for Anna & Darren's Vermont Wedding. You can see more photos here. I love her.

Ministers:

Greg Trulson. He is amazing. And photographer-friendly (always a huge PLUS in my book). His cermonies are super personal, couples can incorporate their own ideas/elements and he's simply amazing.

Debra Grow. She is fantastic. When I first met her and listened to the ceremony, I was convinced that she was a personal friend of the couple. Turns out she wasn't. She takes the time to get to know the couple and makes sure that the ceremony is meaningful to them. I can only recommend her.

Hair & Make-up:

Ann Dufresne-Bathalon @ Annabella's Salon, 178 Currier Hill Drive, Irasburg, VT 05845, (802) 754-2477 She's also my personal hair dresser and she is simply amazing! She will tell you what works and what doesn't work for you and will make it happen! In case you ever do catch me on a bad hair day, don't blame Ann; I'm so busy, I don't see her nearly as often as I should although I do have to say, her cuts are so good, I can get away with only seeing her 4 times a year. Seriously, she's that good.

Bakers:

Mountain View Farm - ask for Tiffany Osowiecki. I've had her Almond Grand-Marnier, White-Chocolate cake with raspberries and it was simply divine. If the look and taste of your cake are important to you, I can only suggest that you get in touch with her: (802) 326-3131. Recent update: we finally (!) had a wedding cake for our 7-year anniversary and her key lime pie with blueberries is delicious. As were the other 3 cakes we sampled. Yummy!

Family & Friends:

And last - but most certainly not least - A huge thank you to my family and friends without whom none of this would have been possible:

My husband Damian for his never-ending support, wicked humor and general amazingness. You rock! Daisy, Jake, Marvin K. and Grover for putting up with all this madness. Love you lots!

My mother-in-law & parents for all their support and feedback.

The fantastic Michelle for helping me with this dreaded on-mouse-over Java stuff. She's also a great writer & librarian.

My immigration attorney, Mr. Humberto Gray. A knight in shining armor.

Our "other" attorney, Mr. Stuart Sherman, who hits the ball out of the park every single time.
